I’ve always dreamed of starting a business. I’ve always had a business mind set. When I was very young, I used to play pretend store where I would set up all of my toys in the living room on the couch and put price tags on them. I would then use toy blocks (they were life-sized, designed to look like bricks, and made of cardboard) to partition off an area to be where my cash register was (I used monopoly money mixed in with some real money from my piggy bank). My parents would go around and do some “shopping.” I always loved it when Grandma would come to visit, because she would use real money and I was able to keep it (aren’t grandparents the best?!) . As I grew up a little bit more, it turned into garage sales I would have at the end of my driveway for the neighbor kids to partake in—I used to sell “air fresheners” (I would first get a Dixie cup from the bathroom and then I would take a tissue and douse it in mouthwash that I would then stuff in the cup and wait a minute for it to dry. Then I would take it out of the cup and it would keep the shape of the cup—boom, an amazing room air freshener) — I actually got a few kids to buy them with real money, that was my “hot item” at my garage sales. I even set up a lemonade stand at the corner of my street a few summers - a lot of joggers and even some cars pulled over to get a glass of lemonade, it felt very rewarding.

Fast forward to today, I am over-the-moon excited to be starting a business and finally making it a reality. As amazing as I was at selling “room air fresheners” I have always known that my greatest characteristic is to help and guide people. Whether it has been a friend in need or a family member that needs help, I have always tried my best to be there to help in anyway that I could. That is what lead me to start a consulting business—knowing that I could combine my innate skills and my passion of helping others together, made this venture a great fit for me.
I am grateful to be able to share my creative ideas and concepts with the world through my business. For example, my take on Regenerative Capitalism and the Circular Economy inspired me to create a Regenerative Business Model involving Connected and Awareness Orgs. (two more terms that I coined). I also created Business Wellness Tips (I love making up and creating words, ever since I was a kid, haha) that I promote on my Instagram social media handle through my stories and they will soon be incorporated into my monthly e-newsletter. I can’t wait to see what happens and how things grow as my business prospers! It is truly an exciting time.

Lastly, I’m grateful for my current clients and eager for all of my future clients who are yet to come. Like I said, helping people succeed is one of my favorite things to do and to see in life.
