When everything started to happen in March, I thought this was only going to last for a couple of months—I think most people did. I didn’t realize that it would last a year (and counting). This is truly a remarkable time in history. A moment in time that we will tell future generations about. A time that helped to shape our future in a new direction. As depressing and challenging of times these are with so much loss of loved ones, businesses, and ventures, it’s a time of rebirth and new opportunities to arise. It’s a time to realize everything that we have taken for granted in our lives and to rethink the way we live and think of others and the world around us. At least that is the perspective that I have chosen to take during this time. I’m an optimist, it’s the way I was programmed in life. Of course, I would have began my consulting business if the Pandemic never happened, but I don’t know it would have prospered as fruitfully and quickly as it did if it wasn’t during these times. I adapted a lot to fit the times and I am grateful because it has really shaped my business into something that I’m proud of.

I originally moved out to Los Angeles to pursue my acting career, which I’m still doing. But thanks to the Pandemic and Hollywood being “shutdown” and moving at a slower pace I was able to put all of my energy, time, and effort into my consulting business. I think that is what allowed me to really jumpstart my business right away. Initially, I was expecting to be soft launched for a year and test the market…but because of the Pandemic, it has given me the opportunity to be a fully functioning business right off the bat. I’m SO thankful and humbled by that. I’ve been waiting for opportunity to knock on my door for a few years now—and it finally has. At this point, I’m humbled and so grateful. I’ve also always saw myself becoming an entrepreneur, maybe not anytime soon, because I was so focused on “making it in Hollywood” for these past couple of years—but I’m so happy that I took that leap and I am now an entrepreneur, a business woman, and a business owner. I can join the ranks of other greats who started out and created their empires just like how I am. I’m feeling quite motivated.
I also realized, being the person that I am, with so many different types of interests, I don’t need to forget or get rid of my other interest to just focus on one. I can do them all! it’s a great way to stay motivated and also to never get bored in life! Everyone has a side-hustle now and a hustle for their side-hustle, so how I naturally function is more than relevant for current times. I love to balance my life, pursue my dreams, and achieve all of my goals. That’s why creating a consulting business seemed like a perfect fit for me and it truly is. I love being a consultant and supporting and helping people on each of their unique journeys. I am honored to help and support each of my clients (and future clients) in their ventures, it’s exciting for me, it’s like I’m going through it right next to them! If anything, I’m right there to support them and provide them with the tools and encouragement that they need to succeed.

I couldn’t be anymore pleased with the world currently. The beginning of this year and these past few years have not been the greatest for me, I will admit, they have been a genuine struggle. It took me a bit to realize what I wanted to do and where I wanted to go in life, but I’m so happy that I have finally discovered that and I am now able to move forward with my goals in life. From working towards my childhood dreams of being a “Hollywood movie star” in Los Angeles, to becoming an innovative entrepreneur and a successful business owner growing my consulting business—I feel really good and I’m eager to have direction again in my life.
With all of the obstacles and hinderances that I have come across this year while establishing my consulting business, I am humbled and ready to continue to work hard, learn each day, and grow fruitfully in the direction that I want to for my consulting business.
